Refund & Cancellation Policy

Important: This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all fee-based services offered by JB Financial Consultants (JBFC). Please read this policy carefully before engaging our services. By availing any paid service from JBFC, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Nature of JBFC's Services

JB Financial Consultants (JBFC) provides loan advisory, documentation support, and facilitation services. Our fees are charged for professional time, expertise, and services rendered — specifically for:

  • Initial eligibility assessment and financial profiling
  • Identification and matching of suitable lenders
  • Preparation and review of loan application documents
  • Submission of applications and follow-up with lenders
  • Advisory and consultation throughout the loan process

JBFC does not guarantee loan approval. Our fees are for advisory and facilitation services only — not for the loan itself. Loan sanction is at the sole discretion of the lender.

2. Fee Structure

JBFC may charge fees in the following forms, as agreed in writing before commencement of services:

2.1 Consultation / Processing Fee

A non-refundable upfront fee charged for initial assessment, documentation, and application submission. This fee covers work already performed by JBFC irrespective of the loan outcome.

2.2 Success Fee / DSA Commission

A performance-based fee payable only upon successful loan disbursement, as per the agreed percentage or fixed amount. This fee is applicable only after actual disbursement of funds to the client by the lender.

2.3 Documentation / Report Charges

Charges for specific deliverables such as financial statement preparation, CMA data, credit reports, or project reports — non-refundable once the deliverable has been completed and shared.

3. Refund Policy

JBFC's refund policy is as follows:

3.1 Non-Refundable Fees

The following fees are strictly non-refundable once paid:

  • Consultation / Processing Fee — charged for work already commenced by JBFC
  • Documentation charges — once documents, reports, or deliverables have been prepared and delivered
  • Fees paid following loan rejection — rejection by a lender does not constitute a failure of JBFC's service
  • Fees paid after application submission to one or more lenders

3.2 Situations Where Refund May Be Considered

A refund may be considered at JBFC's sole discretion in the following limited circumstances:

  • The client cancels the engagement in writing before JBFC has commenced any substantive work (i.e., before any document review, assessment, or lender interaction)
  • JBFC is demonstrably unable to initiate the service due to circumstances entirely within JBFC's control
  • A duplicate or erroneous payment has been made — subject to verification

In eligible cases, refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days of written approval, to the original payment source only.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@jbfc.co.in with the subject line "Refund Request — [Your Name / Business Name]". Verbal requests will not be entertained.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Cancellation by the Client

Clients may cancel their engagement with JBFC at any time by submitting a written request via email to info@jbfc.co.in. The following cancellation terms apply:

Stage of Cancellation Refund Applicable
Before any work commenced by JBFC Partial refund may be considered (at JBFC's discretion)
After assessment / documentation commenced No refund on processing fee; work charges applicable
After application submitted to lender(s) No refund; full processing fee forfeited
After loan sanction / disbursement No refund; success fee fully applicable

4.2 Cancellation by JBFC

JBFC reserves the right to cancel or terminate its engagement with a client under the following circumstances:

  • Discovery or reasonable suspicion of submission of false, forged, or misleading documents
  • Non-cooperation or failure to provide required documents within a reasonable time
  • Client's conduct that is abusive, threatening, or unlawful towards JBFC personnel
  • Any activity that places JBFC or its network lenders at legal or regulatory risk

In such cases, no refund will be issued and JBFC may pursue appropriate legal remedies.

5. No Refund on Loan Rejection

Loan rejection by a bank or NBFC does not entitle the client to a refund of JBFC's fees. JBFC's advisory and facilitation work is completed at the time of application submission. The lending decision rests entirely with the financial institution and is beyond JBFC's control. Processing fees paid to JBFC are for professional services rendered and are not contingent on loan approval.

6. Payment & Receipt

All payments to JBFC must be made only through officially communicated bank transfer, UPI, or other formal payment channels. A formal receipt or invoice will be issued for every payment received. JBFC does not accept cash payments for services. Clients are advised to retain all payment receipts and written fee agreements for their records.

7. Grievance Redressal

Response Time: We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and aim to resolve it within 15 working days.

8. Changes to This Policy

JBFC reserves the right to revise this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date. We recommend reviewing this policy before engaging our services.

Governing Law: This Refund & Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from fee payments or service agreements with JBFC shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Thane, Maharashtra, India.
